Availability: Reclaimed wood is often harder to find than new wood and can be more expensive due to the labor involved in sourcing and processing it. Environmental: Reclaimed wood is generally considered more eco-friendly than new wood, as it is sourced from existing structures and does not require additional logging.

Stability and Durability Reclaimed wood is stronger and more resistant to climate than new wood. Much of the wood we use for our reclaimed products originally came from old growth trees in virgin growth forests.

Oak is a popular choice for reclaimed wood and, in particular flooring due to its versatility in terms of finish and colouring. Much of our reclaimed oak flooring range comes from oak trees used for old buildings throughout Europe.
